Apocalypse Now: Anna Wintour Seen Wearing Jeans

We know, we know....barely a day goes by where we don't write some obsessive post about our love of all things Anna. But this is a particularly shocking moment. La Wintour, who is known for her icy demeanor, is known for one other very important thing: her style. While she's no chameleon like Daphne Guinness or Alexa Chung, she has most definitely created a signature "lewk" (to quote Brad Goreski) for herself. Raine or shine it's: skirt, top, jacket/cardigan, bob and sunglasses. Even the roster of designers (Chanel, Oscar de la Renta, Prada, CarolinaHerrera) is a relatively small stable of names, for the most part. But Wintour shocked -- shocked, we say! -- onlookers at the Sony Ericsson Tennis Open last Friday when she wore -- are you sitting down? are you ready? take a deep breath -- jeans. Can you believe it? We've been staring at the picture for the past few days studying it like it's a picture of the Loch Ness monster. Anna Wintour just doesn't wear jeans (that neon necklace strap ain't too cute, either). We're still trying to wrap our feeble little minds around this whole situation. Oh, but don't worry, they're J Brand jeans and it's a Proenza Schouler top -- it's not like she would be caught wearing American Eagle or something. When that day comes.....let's just hope, for our sake, it doesn't.
