Wanna Be in Vogue? Just Master These Poses

It goes without saying that we are ravenous consumers of magazines, especially the women's fashion rags. And for female fashion there is no tome more prestigious than Vogue. And since we've carefully examined every page of every issue, we know all the ins and outs of Anna's monthly love child from masthead to back cover. If you're as obsessed as we are, you may notice that there are certain poses that models MUST master to be featured in the pages of the illustrious title. Our friend over at Fashion Indie are also onto this, and they've done a handy instructional post on the classic, quintessential poses that frequently show up. Amongst them are "The Stride," "The Stroll," "The Pensive Jut" and our personal favorite (and possibly the hardest to master) "The Editorial Jump" -- demonstrated above. Add to that a Tyra Banks-approved smize (smiling with the eyes, duh) and you're a shoe-in.
