The Young Veins was formed last summer after Ryan Ross and Jon Walker defected from Panic at the Disco. The band wasted no time in writing their first album, Take A Vacation!, and soon after its release they hit the road to support the beach rock-inspired record.
While in town to play a sold out show at Irving Plaza, Ross and Walker dropped by the Out studio to chat about why they left Panic at the Disco, where the new songs came from, and how when they're on the road, Waffle House is their home away from home:
After the interview, the guys hung around to play us two acoustic tracks off the new album, "Take A Vacation!" and "Maybe I Will, Maybe I Won't":
