What are people with good taste using to get their message across these days? Mylar, that's what. Not only did we here at Out use some very tasteful balloons to spell out the opener to our HotList (above right), but we realize the ever-classy Louis Vuitton at Saks Fifth Avenue have done the same with their window display.
That's what we like to see in these austere times -- something that looks like solid gold, but is really just a kiddie balloon filled with gas. Wait until the recession is over and we both use Faberge Eggs for next year's windows/magazine spread.
