iPhone Gets Gayer

Your iPhone can wave a rainbow flag and even propose to your boyfriend, but until now LGBT-oriented apps of the practical variety have been rather few and far between. Last week, GayCities released a free app that provides listings, reviews, and directions for gay-friendly restaurants, hotels, beaches, and bars in 70+ cities. Early feedback indicates the app has a few kinks, but its a start. Meanwhile, according to the Bay Area Reporter, we can look forward to the release of several other gay-oriented database and reader apps currently in development.
