China has something of a reputation for human rights abuses, but its latest crime against humanity -- and by "humanity" we mean "David Beckham" -- is one we can't help but giggle at. A Viagra-type supplement called USA Selikon is being advertised on Chinese TV, purporting to be Beckham's "secret weapon" on the field and in the bedroom. (And by extension, we suppose, in his Armani briefs).
Becks, for his part, doesn't find the unlicensed endorsement nearly so amusing. "David's fair game and can take a bit of a ribbing in the name of comedy," a source told the Daily Star. "But to poke fun at his sexual prowess to plug a product is overstepping the mark." Don't worry Becks, we still think you're virile!
