All of that Activia Jamie Lee Curtis has been eating somehow made her immortal. The actress is returning to the Halloween movie franchise as the iconic Laurie Strode. Yes, Laurie technically died in 2002's Halloween: Resurrection, but death isn't stopping her from joining the cast of next year's Halloween revival film.
If you'll recall, Curtis' character famously said "I'll see you in hell" before being pushed off a roof by her stalker and brother, Michael Myers. Casual stuff. We don't expect the long-awaited sequel (not reboot) to take place entirely in hell so it'll be interesting to see how she plays into the action. Then again, this is Hollywood. Death is only temporary.
The new Halloween film will be written by Danny McBride and David Gordon Green, who is set to direct the film. OG Halloween creator John Carpenter is also attached to the film as an executive producer and creative consultant, and may even do the music this time around.
While we wait for more details on the film before its October 2018 release, enjoy this accidental foreshadowing of her return to Halloween.
