25 'Drag Race' queens who competed in other reality shows

It's hard to think of too many reality shows that have created so many stars as the overall RuPaul's Drag Race franchise. Mama Ru's queendom has been expanding its international presence for nearly two decades — helping drag artists, queer people, and trans people to develop massive fandoms and long-lasting careers after being introduced to a global audience through Drag Race.

Before diving into this list, however, let's noting a few parameters. Firstly, this list only includes reality shows that these drag entertainers did after their Drag Race debut. Moreover, docuseries and lifestyle reality shows aren't featured on the list (only other reality competition shows). Lastly, we're excluding all Drag Race-related spinoffs and international versions — like RuPaul's Secret Celebrity Drag Race and RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars seasons — in the criteria.

With that in mind, let's get to it!

Adore Delano

RuPaul's Drag Race season 6 and All Stars 2 alum Adore Delano competed in the fourth season of MTV's Ex on the Beach, which was dubbed Peak of Love.

Alaska

After being crowned the winner of All Stars 2, Alaska competed on VH1's Scared Famous reality competition and finished in sixth place overall.

Alyssa Edwards

Trust the Duchess! After becoming a Drag Race legend, Alyssa Edwards' dance company, Beyond Belief, was featured in an audition for America's Got Talent. In 2024, Alyssa was also featured as a contestant on Amazon Freevee's The GOAT, where she got ninth place.

Baga Chipz

Baga Chipz became a legitimate superstar after competing in the first season of RuPaul's Drag Race UK. In the months and years that followed, Baga went on to compete on Celebrity MasterChef, The Celebrity Circle, and Celebrity Karaoke Club, just to name a few!

Bob the Drag Queen

Drag Race season 8 winner Bob the Drag Queen has become known for her acting roles and guest appearances as a special judge in other reality shows — not to mention being a cohost of We're Here for three seasons. As a contestant in the third season of The Traitors, Bob delivered drama, chaos, and pure entertainment.

Courtney Act

Courtney Act has become quite the reality TV veteran following her breakout appearance on Drag Race season 6. In the years that followed, Courtney most notably won season 21 of Celebrity Big Brother in the UK. Other reality competitions include the Australian version of Dancing With the Stars (as well as a spot in the All Stars edition of the series in 2022) and season 5 of The Masked Singer in Australia.

Kandy Muse

A runner-up on both season 13 and All Stars 8, Kandy Muse has also been confirmed as a contestant for the second season of E!'s House of Villains. The Muse is back to reality TV, and we're dying to see her again on our screens!

Keiona

Keiona, the legendary winner of Drag Race France season 2, competed in the French version of Strictly Come Dancing (titled Danse avec les stars in France). The drag superstar had an incredible performance in the series and placed fourth overall.

Laganja Estranja

After making a huge splash on Drag Race season 6, Laganja Estranja returned to reality TV as a contestant on So You Think You Can Dance season 15.

Miss Fiercalicious

The first-ever edition of The Traitors Canada featured none other than the "sabotage" queen herself, Miss Fiercalicious, who broke into reality TV competing on Canada's Drag Race season 3.

Peppermint

In 2024, Peppermint became the first trans woman and drag artist to compete in the U.S. edition of Peacock's hit reality competition series The Traitors.

Shangela

Shangela made headlines while competing on Dancing With the Stars season 31. She made it all the way to the grand finale.

Vanessa Vanjie

A fully out-of-drag Vanessa Vanjie competed on Paramount+'s All Star Shore — a party-themed competition series within the Jersey Shore universe that featured reality TV stars from different shows competing for a grand prize of $150,000.

The All Stars 9 finalist also had her own dating show, Vanjie: 24 Hours of Love, on WOW Presents Plus.

The Vivienne

The late, great The Vivienne — best known for winning Drag Race UK season 1 — had an exciting journey as a contestant on Dancing On Ice. This OG champion competed in the 15th season of the series alongside reality TV juggernauts like Ekin-Su (Love Island) and Joey Essex (The Only Way is Essex), made it to the finale, and finished her run in third place.

Tayce

RuPaul's Drag Race season 2 icon Tayce not only competed on the 2024 edition of the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special, but she actually won the season.

Utica Queen (a.k.a. Ethan Mundt)

Drag Race season 13 star Utica Queen — credited as her out-of-drag name Ethan Mundt — was cast in the Freeform/Hulu/Disney+ reboot of Project Runway. As a phenomenal fashion designer and visual artist, fans were thrilled about this announcement.

Monét X Change

Between winning Miss congeniality on Drag Race season 10, being crowned as the winner of All Stars 4 (in an infamous tie with Trinity The Tuck), and returning for All Stars 7 (referenced as the all-winners season of Drag Race), Monét X Change has plenty of experience in reality. In 2025, Monét was announced as a competitor for The Traitors season 4.

Plane Jane

Plane Jane, a chaotic queen on Drag Race season 16 that finished the show as a top 3 finalist, was also announced in 2025 as a cast member for season 3 of House of Villains.

Jade Jolie

Jade Jolie was all rainbows and sunshines on Drag Race season 5, but she unleashed her full drag monster fantasy as a contestant on The Boulet Brothers' Dragula season 4. She became the first-ever Drag Race queen to compete on Dragula, and it was thrilling to see her going on that journey.

Yuri (f.k.a. Yuri Guaii)

Yuri, formerly known as Yuri Guaii, went home halfway through the second season of Drag Race Down Under. This came as a huge surprise to fans who felt like she had a chance to make it to the finale. Two years later, Yuri returned to reality TV by competing on The Boulet Brothers' Dragula season 6.

Jujubee

Many fans consider Queen of the Universe as being part of the overall Drag Race franchise given its ties, both on- and off-camera, to Mama Ru's queendom. It's worth noting, however, that this isn't the case.

Queen of the Universe is a completely separate show, meaning that Jujubee (star of Drag Race season 2, All Stars 1, All Stars 5, and Drag Race UK vs. the World season 1) should absolutely be included on this list.

Leona Winter

Just like Jujubee, Leona Winter also competed in the first season of Queen of the Universe, which aired in December 2021. Three and a half years before she was cast in the singing competition, however, she won season 2 of The Switch Drag Race — the franchise's first-ever spinoff series.

Even though The Switch worked very differently from the regular Drag Race format, it did carry the same name and branding, but a time when the franchise didn't have a fixed format for its international versions. Back then, Leona also went under the stage name Miss Leona.

Leona's overall journey in the queendom also didn't end there given that she was subsequently cast as a competitor on Drag Race France season 3.

Aura Eternal Visage

Before competing as a singer on Queen of the Universe season 2, Aura Eternal Visage had already made her reality TV debut in the second season of Drag Race Italia — where she finished as runner-up.

Love Masisi

Love Masisi had a short run in season 2 of Drag Race Holland. Two years later, she returned to TV to compete in the second season of Queen of the Universe, and unfortunately also had her journey cut short in the singing competition. On both shows, Love Masisi finished in 8th place overall.

Bimini

Bimini, a standout queen on RuPaul's Drag Race UK season 2 who finished the season as runner-up, came back to compete in another reality show in the 2025 season of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins on Channel 4.
