After weeks of speculation surrounding Blue boy band member Duncan James dating model/nightclub performer Alexander Roque, the singer has finally hard-launched their relationship… officially!
James was reportedly "gushing" over his new boyfriend, Roque, while speaking with the Daily Mail at an event for Children With Cancer UK over the weekend. "He is a very handsome boy. It's new and it's exciting," James told the publication. "He's a real sweetheart. He's a bit of a love bug, which is sweet. And he's showering me lots of love.
The Daily Mail report also noted that Roque "won rave reviews from [James's] loved ones, having met his mother Fiona Inglis and the rest of Blue — Simon Webbe, Antony Costa, and Lee Ryan." Overall, the publication added that Roque has already "gotten the seal of approval" from his mother and fellow Blue boy band mates.
In the Instagram carousel below, fans can see a couple of pictures of James and Roque posing together — in photos of just the two of them as a couple, but also alongside friends — during a recent trip.

Besides his singing career and tenure in the Blue boy band, James is best known as an actor who's starred in projects like Hollyoaks, Doctor Who: The Eighth Doctor Adventures, Help, and Plus One, among others.
The Daily Mail described Roque as a "performer … who works at strip show Forbidden Nights." On his own Instagram bio, Roque describes himself as an "actor, model, and presenter." His TV credits include appearing on Britain's Got Talent and starring in Kylie Minogue and Jessie Ware's "Kiss of Life" music video.
