Dan Savage

Dan Savage is a gay American journalist, author, activist, and media pundit. Since 1991 he has written an internationally syndicated relationship and sex advice column called Savage Love. He and his husband also began the "It Gets Better Project", to help prevent suicide among LGBT youth. He has appeared in many television and newspaper syndications to discuss same sex marriage and Don't Ask Don't Tell, among other LGBT issues. In 2012 he and his husband were one of the first 11 couples to receive their marriage license in Washington.
