A lesbian couple have been arrested in Australia for allegedly committing three armed robberies in one night while armed with a hammer, axe, and knives. Eleanor Ashford, 23, and Sarah Canceri, 23, were taken into custody and charged with stealing money and cigarettes from three different gas stations in the Sydney area over a two-hour period beginning late Friday evening and ending early Saturday morning, March 25 and 26. Ashford is the daughter of a well-known surgeon in Wollongong, and the two are budding influencers who regularly post photos of themselves together on Instagram.

According to a report from police in New South Wales, the two women were armed with knives, a hammer, and a rusty axe when they robbed a gas station on Heathcote Road near Junction Road in the Sydney suburb of Moorbank just before midnight late Friday night. Witnesses at the scene said the women threatened the cashier and demanded cash and cigarettes before fleeing in a Mistubishi Lancer.

While investigating that crime, police received a second call from a gas station on Nuwarra Road near Newbridge Road, reporting another robbery by the same two suspects.

A third incident was reported to police from a Moorebank gas station on Camden Valley Way near Gellibrand Drive around 1:15 a.m. An employee claimed he was threatened and robbed by two women armed with a hammer and matching the description of the suspects in the earlier two incidents.

Not long after, police located the Mistsubish Lancer and arrested the two women. A search of their car yielded the cash and cigarettes allegedly stolen during the robberies, along with the knives and rusty axe police believe were used in the robberies.

The pair are currently in jail awaiting trial. Ashford appeared in court requesting bail, and the Daily Mail reported her father, Dr. Bruce Ashford, offered to drive Eleanor to the police station daily if she was granted bail. The bail application was later withdrawn without explanation. Canceri did not request bail and both defendants remain behind bars for now.

Ashford and Canceri regularly post pictures of themselves to Instagram. The happy lesbian couple can be seen hugging, kissing, lounging on the beach, and engaging in numerous activities together.

Canceri was scheduled to appear in court earlier today. Ashford's next court appearance is May 19.
