The girls, gays, and theys want to know who Travis Kelce’s gay friends are.
Taylor Swift is busy promoting her new album, The Life of a Showgirl, and went on British radio program HITS Radio, where she opened up about her fiancé, NFL player Travis Kelce.
Swift was asked about a lyric in the song "Wi$h Li$t," where she sings, "I made wishes on all of the stars / Please, God, bring me a best friend / Who I think is hot."
After saying she's achieved that with Kelce, one of the radio hosts, James Barr, jumps in with an important note.
"I have a question, actually: does he have any hot gay friends?" he asks.
"Yeah," Swift replies. "I also have a lot of those as well."
"But yeah, you would absolutely love him. He's a blast, he's just the most fun person. Life of every party, even when it's just us. So yeah, that is the goal, isn't it? Find a best friend who you think is hot."
Fans are now wondering if this means that some of Kelce's Kansas City Chiefs teammates or fellow NFL stars are the "hot gay friends" Swift is referring to.
While there aren't any out players on the Chiefs, back in 2017, Kelce told Outsports that he'd be happy to support a gay teammate.
"Anybody in this world [can play]," he said. "I'm comfortable with who I am, and I expect everyone to be comfortable with who they are. I respect people for their views and opinions."
Swift and Kelce have been dating since 2023 and got engaged in August 2025. "Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married," she wrote on Instagram at the time.
