Rihanna wants to be disrespected in the bedroom.
The singer and mogul was doing a recent interview for her Savage X Fenty series Savage Confessions when she revealed to the world that she is a proud bottom.
In a series of videos, Rihanna, dressed in lingerie, answers questions about sex, including one that many gay people have been asked before.
When she was asked “Top or Bottom,” Rihanna had no trouble answering.
“Bottom of course,” she smiled, “Disrespect me!”
Other questions she was asked include “Do you have an ‘I’m getting laid’ outfit?” “Any tips on joining the Mile High Club?” and “What’s the most savage thing you’ve done for love?”
Now, normally when we say top and bottom, we’re talking about who is giving and who is receiving in gay sex. However, the terms have recently become more popular among straight people.
According to most sources, the terms “top” and “bottom” were first used in gay leather culture in the 1950s where the terms signified both sexual positions and power relationships. It wasn’t until the terms reached wider BDSM culture that they were changed to mean the person in control who is dominating (top) and a person who is submissive and receives the pain and control (bottom).
The Savage Confessions series is part of the marketing for the new Savage X Fenty Valentine’s line that includes gorgeous red and pink lingerie — perfect for topping or bottoming.
