Controversial influencer Clavicular is going viral again after a video of him at a club has people on social media commenting on his sobriety.
Once only known by people in the incel-adjacent “looksmaxxing” community, controversial influencer Clavicular has been making mainstream headlines for everything from his bizarre interactions with the media to being arrested for shooting a dead alligator to getting dismissed by gay men who told him he was at the wrong beach.
Clavicular, whose real name is Braden Peters, was filmed dancing with three blond women in a club, but instead of praising him for being the kind of attractive “high status” man the looksmaxxing subculture idealizes, he was roasted for his awkward dancing and appearing like he was on drugs.
Peters has built a following around “looksmaxxing,” an internet subculture devoted to their obsession with their stated goal of improving their social standing and capturing the attention of “Stacys” — the looksmaxxing term for beautiful women — by doing everything from seven-step skincare routines and excessive time spent at the gym to more dangerous methods like taking methamphetamines as a weight-loss drug and smashing their face with a hammer to increase jaw size.
In the viral video, which has already racked up more than eight million views at the time of publication, Peters is seen doing odd moves on the dance floor — including pretending to punch a woman and motorboating her — while appearing potentially intoxicated.
“Clavicular had 3 girls tell him to take them home and went into demon mode. He ended the stream 4 minutes later,” the caption on the now-viral video reads.
Bu instead of complimenting is ability to pull “Stacys,” the comment section is full of people making fun of his dance moves, questioning his sexuality, and speculating that he’s been taking methamphetamines.
This comes just five months after Peters was hospitalized for a suspected overdose during a livestream at a Miami restaurant. While it’s unclear if he is currently taking any illicit substances, Peters has openly admitted to using black market testosterone and taking a daily regimen of Accutane, retatrutide, nebivolol, and melanotan in an attempt to improve his appearance.
