A video of Pedro Pascal pretending to lick a light-up rainbow pole has gone viral.
The Last of Us actor posted the video on the thirteenth slide on his latest Instagram carousel, highlighting moments on the HBO set. Posted Monday, May 19, the caption reads, "There's no place like Canada." In the adorable new clip, Pascal is dancing behind a DJ booth.
Pascal didn't provide much context for the moment, but fans believe the video is from a wrap party for his The Last of Us character Joel Miller. A massive clap board in front of the DJ booth reads, "The Last Of Pedro Season 2" alongside hand-drawn hearts and a massive printout of hot dogs.
Various videos of the moment have collected hundreds of thousands of likes across social media platforms.
The comments on Pascal's original post are just as cute.
"Sometimes, the prettiest princess is a 50 year old man," one fan wrote . "Cutie pie," said another.
Though private about his own romantic life, Pascal has been an outspoken ally to his transgender sibling – and even slammed J.K. Rowling after the Harry Potter author gloated about a UK Supreme Court ruling that excluded trans women from certain legal protections. "Heinous loser behavior," the actor wrote.
Though Pascal's arc on the hit HBO apocalyptic series has come to an end, The Last of Us showrunner Craig Mazin believes the show, which is based on a video game of the same name, can run for at least two more seasons.
"There’s no way to complete this narrative in a third season," Mazin recently told Collider. "Hopefully, we’ll earn our keep enough to come back and finish it in a fourth. That’s the most likely outcome."
The show is surprisingly LGBTQ+ inclusive, giving Pascal's co-star Bella Ramsey's character multiple queer romances across its two seasons. And season 1 featured the now-iconic episode, "A Long, Long Time," where Nick Offerman played a gay man building a life after an apocalypse.
