Let men hug their friends in peace!!!
TikTok star Noah Beck is having to deal with nonsense from people online who think he has a boyfriend because he posted a video of him and another man hugging at Coachella this past weekend.
Beck, who has more than 33 million followers on TikTok, posted a video of him and his longtime friend Carter Gregory dancing and hugging at the recent first weekend of the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival.

People across the internet did what they do best, jumping to conclusions, deciding that the video meant that Beck had a new boyfriend.
Really?? Two men hug and smile together and that makes them boyfriends? Come on now, this is 2024, we're wayyyy past that grade one homophobia.
crying noah beck saw that boyfriend post even he was weirded tf out pic.twitter.com/Iinb0jctmI

Beck, of course, saw the comments and replied, sharing a picture of him looking confused with the caption "y'all don't be hugging ur friends???"
It's so frustrating that we still are accusing men of being gay, and also less masculine, because they are comfortable showing affection to other men. We need to stop!
This isn't even Beck's first time dealing with this kind of thing. Back in 2023 Beck clarified that he wasn't coming out when a video of him dancing on stage with a female singer who joked about his sexuality went viral.
"I grew up with two sisters, I grew up playing soccer, and I grew up in a very female-dominated household and I’m just not afraid to be in touch with my feminine side," he said.
What is in the water this week? This is the third story like this that we've shared recently.
In another story from Coachella, homophobes were freaking out when longtime friends Justin Bieber and Jaden Smith hugged at the music festival and Bieber gave Smith a kiss on the cheek. Many even compared the hug to recent claims of sexual assault, rape, and other crimes made against Sean "P. Diddy" Combs.
Rapper NLE Choppa also has had to deal with ignorant comments about his sexuality from homophobes who think him dancing and having a good time in the music video for his recent single "Slut Me Out 2" makes him less of a man.
In addition to dancing in his video, Choppa shouted out thanks to the LGBTQ+ community for showing love to the song, which also got homophobes on his case.
"I'm gay for showing love?" he asked on Twitter. "Y'all men lost, that's why we killing each other everyday cause y'all can't show love and whole time yall be the ones that get down like that but be hiding it!" he clapped back. "Me saying thank you got nun to do with my sexuality busta."
