Hayley Kiyoko just wants Becca Tilley to let her be her world.
Pop singer Hayley Kiyoko showed the UK why she’s known as Lesbian Jesus at her headlining show in London, bringing her girlfriend, Becca Tilley, on stage to serenade her with one of her classic love songs.
Kiyoko shared a video of her singing the romantic song “Pretty Girl” at her London concert after bringing her girlfriend of five years on stage with her. The song includes lyrics like, “I just wanna tell you that you're really pretty girl/I just wanna know if you will let me be your world/I just know you got to taste like candy, candy girl.”
“So wild thinking about writing “Pretty Girl” in 2016 about this hypothetical girl I hadn’t met yet,” Kiyoko wrote on her Instagram. “To now, getting to sing this song to the love of my life on stage for a sold out show in London. This was so special.”
Tilley commented on the post, writing, “I’ll never forget it. I’m so proud of you. I love you so much.”
Kiyoko and Tilley (who starred on The Bachelor) first met in 2018 at the album release party for Kiyoko’s album Expectations. They dated for years, and publicly announced their relationship when Tilley was featured in Kiyoko’s Lesbian Bachelorette themed “For the Girls” music video.
They celebrated their five year anniversary earlier in April.
“5 years ago, on this fateful day in April of 2018, I got invited to a birthday/album release party for @hayleykiyoko,” Tilley said on Instagram. “I hesitated to say yes because I was tired from the night before but @brittneylaurenn convinced me to rally and so we hopped in our minivan Uber (a good luck sign for us) and went to the party…. & the rest is 5 years worth of history. Hayley- there have been very few moments in the course of these 5 years that you haven’t been on my mind. I love you!”
