On Monday, October 2, RuPaul’s Drag Race season three winner and All Stars 7 legend Raja accused a server from Four Peaks Brewing Company’srestaurant at the Phoenix International Airport of “accosting” and “humiliating” her.
Raja took to Instagram (in a since-deleted post) to share a Google review she wrote detailing this experience. The review read:
“What in the actual f*ck is happening at this establishment?! I’m at the Phoenix airport. A burger and a wine cost me almost $60 with tip, and the bartender accused me of stealing his wine glass? The dude actually went to my gate and humiliated me in front of people asking for a glass! Today’s date is October 1st, 2023. I am on route to LA and stopped in this restaurant for food and some wine, and [was] instead accosted.”
Just wrote in the Instagram caption while tagging the official Instagram page for the restaurant:
“Just because I’m irritated and have a bunch of followers. I don’t think it’s cool to be treated poorly while traveling. Yo, I got a burger and wine for almost $60, including a tip for this assh*le, and this dude followed me to my gate accusing me of stealing a wine glass. What the actual f*ck? @fourpeaksbrew at that airport is a joke.”
A few hours later on the same Monday, October 3, a representative for Four Peaks Brewing Company appears to have contacted Raja to apologize for the incident. The Drag Race superstar wrote in a new Instagram post:
“Decided to delete my rant pot about the Phoenix airport restaurant. They’ve apologized and are now aware that perhaps they should check their employees. Have a nice day everyone [heart emoji].”
She wrote in the caption, “Apology accepted [praying hands emoji].”
We’re happy for Raja that this terrible situation got resolved!
