For years, Denzel Dion and Ricky Thompson's friendship was a staple of TikTok and pop culture, but this year, the two long-time friends and collaborators have been noticeably absent from each other's lives and posts.
The two social media stars used to run a podcast together called We Said What We Said, where the two would talk about life, culture, and more.
"Every week, join longtime besties Rickey Thompson and Denzel Dion as they dish on EVERYTHING THAT MATTERS," the official description for the podcast reads. "Pop culture! Sex! Partying! Struggle! Love! Music! Friendship! We Said What We Said is a show with bold advice, hot takes, and risque storytelling."
The latest episode of that podcast was uploaded in December of 2023, leading many to speculate if Dion and Thompson had ended their working partnership — and more importantly, their friendship.
@rickeythompson The way I GASPED OUT LOUD
Thompson has broken out somewhat more than Dion, landing modeling gigs and roles in the Machine Gun Kelly film Good Mourning and Prime Video series Swarm in 2023, and by May of 2024, he had moved from Los Angeles to New York.
Now, they've cleared up the rumors. Even if the podcast is over, it's clear that their friendship is not.
The pair have released a new TikTok where they are seen standing with Thompson's arm draped over Dion.
The video features an audio from The Kardashians saying, "Okay guys, we're back! Did you miss us? 'Cause we missed you!"
We don't know yet if the two are going to collaborate again soon, whether on a podcast episode or something else, but it's good to know that the girls are no longer fighting!
