Claybourne Elder embraces his sexiness with 'very gay' new album: 'DM me'

The handsome Broadway star is loving the skin that he's in and has new music to share.

Claybourne Elder is giving fans everything they could want.

The talented actor is known for playing John Adams on HBO's The Gilded Age and for starring in the Broadway productions like Company and Sunday in the Park with George.

Now, Elder is gearing up to release his solo debut album, If the Stars Were Mine, that will feature everything he loves about music... and it'll be unapologetically very gay.

"It's a very eclectic mix of music. It's like being in my head! It's a little bit of everything and the band is incredible. It's very gay and fun! All I want is gay and fun. It's a very queer joy album. Baby, listen to my album and DM me, please," Elder tells Out.

Elder is thrilled that he gets to be the representation he didn't get to see as a child. As a father himself, the handsome multi-hyphenate loves being a role model to his 8-year-old son, but he's also unafraid to tap into his sexiness in his early 40s.

"As a kid, I would have loved to see an adult man sharing his family, sharing his sexiness, sharing his true authentic self as a person on the internet. I had no idea what it was going to be like to be an adult gay man. I think it's OK to celebrate our sexiness."

If the Stars Were Mine drops on April 3. To see the full interview with Claybourne Elder, check out the video at the top of the page.
