Chris Colfer is finally tapping into his naughty side.
The handsome actor is known for his iconic role as Kurt Hummel in Glee, but Colfer has built an incredible career as an author to the very successful children's book series The Land of Stories.
The star has also been a longtime supporter of the Elton John AIDS Foundation as he attends the nonprofit's annual Academy Awards viewing party every year. While walking the carpet for the 2026 event, Colfer revealed that he's finally writing an adult novel that will have everything fans could want.
"I'm currently writing my very first adult novel! It's really smutty, really creepy, very gay. I will be canceled when it comes out! It's been nice knowing you," Colfer tells Out.
Colfer even revealed that the sexy new gay novel is inspired by a shocking true story that happened in his own personal life: "It's very spooky and it's based on an experience I had. I do use the sex as a metaphor, so hopefully people will pick up on that."
The timing of a gay adult series from Colfer couldn't be better as Heated Rivalry's mainstream success continues to gain momentum.
"God bless Heated Rivalry. I don't know how many surgeries it would take for me to look like that, but I'm willing to find out! Is that too much to ask for? Even AI couldn't give me an ass like that. It's extraordinary!" Colfer says of the Crave/HBO Max show's fit stars.
Colfer's adult novel is slated to drop summer 2027. Follow him on Instagram here. To see the full interview from the Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards viewing party, check out the video at the top of the page.
