KJ Apa Teases He & Eric Dane Are a 'New Couple'

Wait a minute...are KJ Apa and Eric Dane an item now?!?!?

Well, if Apa's recent social media post is anything to go by, then who knows! Over the weekend, the 25-year-old Riverdale star took to Instagram to post a pic of himself and eternal TV heartthrob Eric Dane, best known for his roles in projects like Grey's Anatomy and Euphoria, getting cozy while on the set of their new movie One Fast Move, where the two play a father/son duo. (Talk about some serious daddy issues, right!?)

"New couple alert!" Apa captioned the pic that shows him lounging on a couch while Dane's face gets dangerously close to his.

Before you go getting too excited, we know this is most definitely a light-hearted joke on Apa's and nothing more than two male co-stars getting cozy and having some bonding time while working together. (Although it never hurts to daydream from time to time, right?)

Gay baiting Insta pics aside, Dane and Apa are co-starring together on One Fast Move, a film that Deadline describes as a motorcycle racing film where "a dishonorably discharged soldier (Apa) seeks out his estranged father (Dane) to help him pursue his dream of racing Supersport motorcycles. While training, he meets a small-town aspiring singer who begins to break down the walls his father's absence had built up."

Earlier this year, Dane talked to Out about playing the role of the toxic, closeted character of Cal Jacobs in HBO's critically-acclaimed teen drama series Euphoria.

"I didn't really have to do any research," Dane told Out. "I know what it's like to live a double life. The circumstances weren't precisely the same, but it doesn't matter. When you put up a facade, you're putting up a facade, and when you're being a certain way with certain people and another way with other people that transcends the specifics of the circumstances."
