Colton Underwood Hints at the Future of Coming Out Colton

The reality TV star also opened up about his love life as an out and very happily engaged man.

Colton Underwood appears to be to nixing any rumors about a second season of his reality docuseries, Coming Out Colton.

In a recent interview with Us Weekly, Underwood revealed he and fiance Jordan C. Brown don't feel continuing the Netflix show, which chronicles Underwood's embrace of his new life as an out gay man, would be the best for their relationship.

"I don't wanna speak in definitives, but I will say right now in the time of my life and in my relationship, having a show revolve around that is not a healthy decision to make for either of us," Underwood, who came out last year, told Us Weekly on Tuesday. "So, right now there's not a season 2. Right now, we're not exploring that for our relationships or for my work ventures."

Fans will be pleased to hear Underwood has no plans on staying out of the public eye, however. The 30-year-old former football player and Bachelor alum can currently be seen in Beyond the Edge on CBS, which premiered this week on March 16. He also revealed there are plenty of other projects on the horizon.

"I'm working on producing, I'm working on developing," Underwood said. "There's some scripted projects that I've been working really hard on too."

Regarding his relationship with Brown, Underwood said it was "beautiful" and that he never thought he "could be this happy" living as an out gay man.

Underwood revealed the two lovebirds eschewed rings for necklaces that contained the pair's interlocking birthstones and initials. He said the decision wasn't a big issue for the couple and reflected the close nature of their relationship.

"We just had many conversations of like trusting and knowing what was right in our relationship," Underwood said.

Underwood also reemphasized his desire to have children.

"I feel like I was born to be a dad," Underwood gushed. "So there's nothing more in this world that I want than to raise kids and I'm really excited for when that time comes."

So will there be any new additions to the Underwood-Brown family anytime soon?

"We're looking and we're having the conversation," Underwood admitted.
