Looks like two of Broadway's finest have been quarantining together.
There has been speculation over the past few weeks about the relationship status of Ben Platt and Noah Galvin, and now the pair have put it all to rest. yes, they are dating.
"Ben and I are dating," Galvin said on a recent Little Known Facts with Illana Levine podcast episode. "I asked him this morning, I was like, are we allowed to talk about this? And he's like 'Don't go into our nitty-gritty, but yeah, people can know.' It's still relatively new." Keeping the personal personal, we respect it!
Fans of Broadway will be familiar with both names: they notably were stars of Dear Evan Hansen. In fact, not only were they both stars but they were both the show's namesake, Evan. It comes as a bit of a rerepeating of history as Taylor Trensch and Ben Levi Ross, who also have played Evan, also linked up for a relationship at one point.
"I know, it's so incestuous," Galvin said. "But it makes sense, like, we all went through the war together. We all feel very connected."
While Galvin didn't reveal exactly how long they've been dating, he did say that Platt spent three months putting together a birthday present for him collaging video clips of all of his favorite drag queens saying happy birthday.
The news comes at a busy time for Platt. Star of The Politician, the singer just debuted the trailer for his Netflix special Ben Platt: Live From Radio City Music Hall, and participated in Disney's Singalong series.

Opinion: "I have no problem with lip syncing, but you'd think the side that hates drag queens so much would have a little more shame about it," writes Ryan Adamczeski.
