Watch Halsey, Ben Platt, Keke Palmer Sing Disney Classics
With everyone (or at least the smart ones) sheltering in place, networks have been trying to find nifty ways to stand out. And with celebrities mostly having to stay in their homes as well -- no matter how palatial -- there's all this talent with nothing to do. So why not make them record things from home?
In a new series, Disney is having some of the hottest names -- and biggest voices -- host its Family Singalong. The hourlong event promises some of your favorite celebrities covering some of your favorite Disney classes and going it pretty well! The first part of the series aired in April with Demi Lovato and Luke Evans performing alongside some massive names. Part two boasted Halsey, Ben Platt, Billy Eichner, Kiki Palmer, and more.
Scroll through to see some of our LGBTQ+ performers in the series -- oh and if Keke Palmer doesn't get cast as one of the muses in the upcoming, live-action Hercules, we riot!
Keke Palmer covers "Zero to Hero"
Halsey covers "Part of Your World"
Ben Platt and Idina Menzel cover "A Whole New World"
Billy Eichner, Donald Glover, Walter Russell III cover "Hakuna Matata"
Demi Lovato covers "A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes"
Luke Evans, Josh Gad, and Alan Menken cover "Gaston"
Auli'i Cravalho covers "How Far I'll Go"
