Demi Lovato Wants to Make Out With Rihanna, Drops Self-Love Anthem

Last time she was on The Ellen Degeneres Show, pop star Demi Lovato played a game of "Who Would You Rather?" and made it clear that the one and only Rihanna is her celebrity crush.

Almost a year later, Degeneres is asking the follow-up questions we've been dying to know: "I assume she's called you?"

"She hasn't!" Lovato replied on a recent episode of Ellen. "I don't take offense; she is Rihanna."

"Rihanna, how dare you," Ellen said staring into the camera.

"Look, I just wanna make out, OK?" laughs Lovato. "I mean, we could do a song together too. Maybe we make out in the video."

Ellen then asked Lovato if she's on any dating apps, but the sexually fluid "Give Your Heart A Break" singer said she's taking some time to be single.

"I was on dating apps for a while," she began. "As I've spent some time with myself over the past couple of months I realized that I am the type of person that will find any way to regulate when I'm sad or lonely or whatever. I have to fight those battles on my own, and I can't let somebody come in and fix those issues for me."

For now, Lovato is content "spending my Saturday nights by myself... laughing, taking baths!"

And it looks like she's walking the walk, as self-care is the theme of her new music as well. Lovato just dropped the video for her self-love anthem, "I Love Me," where she dukes it out with her inner-demons, opens up about her body image issues, and even acknowledges her 2018 overdose.
