Real Housweives of Orange County star Braunwyn Windham-Burke shared the first photo of her and her new girlfriend Kris yesterday after coming out as a lesbian in an interview with GLAAD.
Windham-Burke sat down with GLAAD's Anthony Ramos recently to tell the world that she's a lesbian. "I like women, I'm gay. You know, I'm a member of the LGBTQIA+ community," she said, "I'm a lesbian and it has taken me 42 years to say that, but I am so proud of where I am right now."
She posted the photo of her and her new partner in her Instagram stories following the news, where she was sharing positive reactions to her coming out and celebrating.
The photo itself is beautiful, with Windham-Burke standing close and leaning on Kris' shoulder while the two appear to be hiking. She also added a rainbow flag emoji and pink heart emoji to the photo, making the couple even more adorable. We don't know much about Kris, but a source confirmed to People that that is who appears in the photo.
In the interview, Windham-Burke confirmed that she was dating someone named Kris, and that her husband Sean had met her and spent time with her. "They hang out sometimes, I mean, we go to parties together," she said, "she came over the other night, hung out with the family, had dinner with us. I mean, it's only as weird as you make it."
From one lesbian to another, I want to say congratulations to Mrs. Winhdam-Burke, Kris looks like a dreamboat with her neck tattoos, septum piercing and notched eyebrow. You go Braunwyn Windham-Burke.
