Ariana Grande Went to a Gay Bar and Tipped the Queens with $100 Bills

Like Adele and Jennifer Lawrence before her, Ariana Grande made a surprise visit to a gay bar in San Antonio, Texas, on Wednesday night and somehow the building is still standing. Grande is currently in the Lone Star State for her Sweetener Tour and treated local queers and queens to an appearance at HEAT nightclub, just in time for a drag show.

Miss Toni Andrews, who performs at HEAT, hadn't even planned to do any Ariana tracks that night. But when a pop princess shows at up your gig...girl, you do what you have to do.

"I was like, 'Oh my God! Oh my God!,'" Miss Toni told KENS 5 News. "I just said, 'Bitch, get into it, get into it. Bring out your inner JLo, Madonna, Ariana, Rhianna--everything...So the music starts, (and) it is a mash-up I could hear her little voice, 'Yas, queen!' I could hear it. I could hear it."

Grande, fistfull of cash in hand, started tipping the performers $100 bills. She also captured plenty of clips for her Instagram story, which has garnered plenty of attention for Miss Toni and her fellow queen Nilaya, who performed "Side to Side" and "break up with your girlfriend, i'm bored."

"For her to go out there and support the LGBTQ community is so comforting, knowing that she is going to sit there and support what we do on-stage," Andrews said.
