Out gay model and actor Derek Chadwick, who is known for acting in shows like Scream Queens and showing off his impressive physique on Instagram, is now set to take the beauty industry by storm with the launch of his new clean beauty brand Chaddy in November.
While working as a model for brands like Calvin Klein, Urban Outfitters, and Moschino, Chadwick noticed a distinct lack of sustainable makeup products that offered enhanced functionality for day-to-day activities and featured gender-inclusive packaging and marketing—thus Chaddy was born.
“Skincare products we use should make us feel more confident in our own natural skin, and that’s what we aspire to do here with Chaddy,” the 28-year-old, who currently boasts 1.9 million followers on Instagram, said in a statement about the launch of the brand, which he is doing with the help of co-founder Emmett Enriques. The inaugural drop of the brand will center on "a versatile range of matte lip plumpers that feature a lip enhancing solution that are peptide enriched, cruelty-free and include all-natural flavoring."
Chaddy will be available at chaddycosmetics.com starting in November. Keep up with the brand by following them on Instagram at @chaddycosmetics, and scroll through to see more images from Chaddy's launch campaign! (All images by Grant Legan, courtesy of Chaddy.)
