For ten years, the Tom of Finland Emerging Artists Contest has sought to help promote and support emerging artists that create erotic art. This year, that will continue with a judging panel that includes the likes of designer Johnathan Anderson and actor Russell Tovey.
"We love this contest and all that it does to promote folks sharing their fantasies," S.R. Sharp, the vice president of Tom of Finland Foundation, which puts on the contest said in a statement. " Tom certainly gave permission to so many to reveal what they truly wanted to express. It is our hope that many new artists are aware of this and can enter."
The contest is only open to emerging artists, meaning artists who haven't sold art of an erotic nature commercially. Entries are due Sunday, November 15 at midnight. Tovey and Anderson will be joined by Seth Bogart, Nao Bustamante, Matt Lambert, Felipe Meres, Silva Prada, Martin Sorrondeguy, and Robert Diament.
