Whether or not you hate the entire concept of Valentine's Day, we can all agree that it could afford to get a lot queerer. Heterosexuals already have enough. This year, our wish has been granted thanks to a little magic from two queer businesses and the fabulously queer designer and activist Andy Simmonds, aka Hey Rooney.

For V-Day, Rooney teamed up with queer-owned paper product company Damaged Goods to collaborate on a series of valentines cards to gay up the special day that'll culminate in a party hosted by Best Barber, another queer-owned business. Damaged Goods, the New York-based company founded by John Hardy and Nicholas DelRose, "decided late last year to partner with Hey Rooney to create fun valentine cards for everyone to enjoy."
The end result is three cute little cards for the little devils who don't mind getting a bit rough. If that sounds like a good time, head to Damaged Goods or meet up with Rooney himself at the Best Barber party on February 6th to grab them in-person from 6-9PM at their East Village location on 228 Ave B.
