Swedish alt-pop chanteuse Lykke Li dropped two new tracks late last night and announced her upcoming album, so sad so sexy. This is Li's fourth album, her follow up to 2014's sumptuous I Never Learn. Since then, Li has become a mother, an experience sure to inform her new music.
The first tracks from so sweet so sexy as are stripped-back and sultry as the album's title suggests, with obvious electronic and hip-hop influences, less orchestral than the music from I Never Learn. Check out "hard rain" produced by Rostam and "deep end" produced by Jeff Bhasker, Malay, and T-Minus below.
Lykke Li's so sad so sexy is out June 8.
