A fixture in our red carpet reports, John Legend never fails to deliver when it comes to style. After snatching a Golden Globe for his song "Glory", from the movie Selma, the singer readies himself for a busy end of award season (he's also up for a Grammy and an Oscar), but still found time to give a stellar performance on Superbowl Sunday, and to voice his support for LGBT rights when he said he would boycott any properties owned by the notoriously homophobic Sultan of Brunei.
But back to fashion. Perhaps it helps to have a supermodel wife, but Legend knows exactly what works for him. At the NFL Honors gala, he wore a great maroon suit, adding a bit of whimsy to a formal getup with a micro-floral print shirt. The casual counterpart would be this gorgeous suede jacket, wore over with a monochromatic black ensemble, and super-cool kicks. Effortlessly chic, and totally cute.
