The 11 Best Queer Halloween Parties Happening in NYC

Halloween Parties

The spooky festivities begin October 26 and last until Halloween eve.

New York City doesn't mess around when it comes to Halloween. There are plenty of queer parties for you to attend while wearing your "slutty nurse" outfit. We've compiled a list of some of the best LGBTQ parties happening in NYC this upcoming Halloween.

1. October 26: Get Ready

Nightlife legend Ladyfag is throwing a party the Friday night of Halloween weekend at Kings Hall in Brooklyn. Ladyfag's hosts (which includes Aquaria) always bring the most outrageous looks, so for Halloween, it's going to be completely wild.

2. October 26: Patricia Fields Halloween Bash

With sponsored cocktails from 9-10 PM, the Patricia Fields Halloween Bash is definitely going to be a fun time. Artists at the event will include Studmuffin NYC by Kyle Bringefield, Jody Morlock, Ssik, and Dope Tavio. It's taking place at Troy Liquor Bar in the meatpacking district.

3. October 27: Halloween Ball with Susanne Bartsch: Cirque de Musee

I'll let the Facebook description speak for itself, "MoMA PS1 is once again collaborating with New York nightlife legend Susanne Bartsch for the seventh annual Halloween Ball. Featuring performances, DJs, and the most elaborate and outrageous costumes in the city, Cirque de Musee will be a raucous menagerie of wondrous beasts, fantasy revels, and vaudevillian magic."

4. October 27: Wrecked NYC: Halloween Edition

The lineup for this year's Halloween Wrecked include Discodromo, Ron Like Hell, and Ryan Smith. The men at Wrecked parties are usually gorgeous, sweaty, and dancing up a storm. Boys will be half-naked. Some in costume, some just shirtless, because why not?

5. October 27: Monster Mash Halloween Party

Facebook describes the event as: "Monsters, get ready for the annual 'Monster Mash' Halloween party at Monarch Rooftop, your favorite incomparable Halloween bash fused by fantasy, ghouls, goblins, and monsters of all kinds. This Halloween, we bring the music, temptations and consequences to awaken and stun your inner spirit. Multiple renowned DJ's will be dropping deep beats spinning the greatest selection of today's mix format, house music, hip hop, and high energy music so amazing that we'll surely awaken the dead."

6. October 27: Be Cute: Halloween Bash

Horrochata, who's half of the incredible Bushwig festival, presents a dance party for aliens with killer shows. It's the 5th year of the annual Halloween spectacular. DJs will include Brooklyn nightlife legends Horrorchata, Hannah Lou, and Uncle Larry. You can also expect to see some incredible drag shows there too! It'll be at the Littlefield in Brooklyn.

7. October 27: Unter X Pornceptual Halloween

At the Sugarhill Disco in Brooklyn, Unter is the infamous Berlin-based queer, sex-positive party. They're teaming up with Pornceptual for a night of looks and fun with DJs from around the world.

8. October 28: Bloodbath

At the Copacabana in Times Square, Bob the Drag Queen and Kim Chi will be hosting the ultimate party with other drag legends including Pixie Aventura and Honey Davenport. Dancers include designer and porn star Boomer Banks.

9. October 31:Deadly Disco

Not too much info online other than the event will be at Club Cumming and hosted by Blake Deadly with DJs Brik Olson and Michael Cavadias.

10. October 31: Boom Halloween: Send in the Clowns!

Susanne Bartsch will be having her infamous Halloween party at the Top of the Standard. It's free to get in, so make sure to get there early.

11. Octber 31: Hopsital 849

Kayvon Zand is throwing Hospital 849 at the Kimpton Hotel Eventi, which will feature a performance by none other than Lil' Kim. Facebook describes the event as:

"Come admit yourself to Hospital 849. Enter the waiting room and wait to be admitted along with other psychiatric patients. Once admitted hospital staff will aid you into the flickering light of the white padded psychiatric ward where you will join the long-term straitjacket psychiatric patients. Wander into the pediatric ward, visit the children suffering from abandoned child syndrome, childhood schizophrenia, and early dementia.

Converse, dance, and imbibe cocktails at the apothecary & bar with patients in the infirmary, while vodka and wine drips out of their IVs. Explore the X-ray unit and mineral springs with patients and hospital staff. Watch surgeons operate and disembowel patients on projected monitors throughout the operating theater. Cocktails will be served in open bars & music by The Misshapes will drown the hospital atmosphere. The evening leads up to several special performances (tba) in the operating theater after midnight."
