A Michael Jackson Musical Is Coming to Broadway in 2020

Don't stop 'til you get enough! A Michael Jackson musical will moonwalk over to Broadway in 2020. Talk about a 'thriller!'

The Michael Jackson Estate and Columbia Live Stage announced the new show about the legendary King of Pop's life story today, Varietyreports.

The music will draw from Jackson's canon and include such hits as "Thriller," "Smooth Criminal," "Beat It," and "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough," with a book written by two time Pulitzer-Prize winner Lynn Nottage. Tony winner Christopher Wheeldon (An American In Paris) is slated to direct and choreograph.

Musicals about and featuring the work of iconic musicians are a huge trend on The Great White Way right now--shows about Carole King, Cher, The Temptations, and Gloria Estefan are just some of the examples.

A theater has not yet been chosen to host the glittering show.
