Andy Cohen Set to Host 'Ex Rated' Show About Exes, Will Bring Chaos

Andy Cohen

He's also bringing back Real Housewives of Miami!

Andy Cohen is set to host and produce a new reality show for Peacock, and this ones a doozy, even by Cohen's standards.

Ex Rated is based on the idea of sending the person you're breaking up with an "exit survey," something that's become a growing trend. In these surveys on the show, people will give "raw reviews" of their former lovers, "rating them on everything from their personality, to their sexual prowess, and relationship skills." Wow, I can't wait to watch what happens!

According to Deadline, the "no-holds-barred series is aimed at empowering singles with insight on how they can improve their romantic experiences." To be honest, it seems more aimed at giving singles opportunities to read their exes for filth on national television, but I'm deeply invested in watching that, so that's not exactly a bad thing.

Ex Rated will be executive produced by Ryan O'Dowd, Lynn Sutcliffe, and Hugh Rycoft, with Eric Pankowski serving as showrunner. It will be filmed in Los Angeles.

The show, like many of Cohen's ventures, is sure to be responsible for it's fair share of viral moments. He's built an empire of reality shows with What What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Bravo, and his executive producing of the Real Housewives franchise.

This year he's also hosting For Real: The Real Story of Reality TV for E! The seven-part docuseries will follow the history of reality TV, focusing on shows like Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Real Housewives, America's Next Top Model, The Simple Life, The Bachelor, Survivor, and Real World. They'll talk about and to the breakout stars and remind us about the most famous meme-able moments from the shows.

Peacock also announced that Cohen is executive producing an all-new season of The Real Housewives of Miami for the network. The original RHOM ran from 2011-2013 on Bravo, but the series is moving to Peacock. Casting is currently underway for a new set of housewives.
