The new season drops September 6

School is now in session! Well almost.

After turning up on Netflix as one of the streaming service's hidden gay gems, the Spanish private school soap opera Elite, is on its way back to screens. Though the show teased a September return just two months ago. Now they've unveiled a new trailer and with it a September 6 premiere date. And we honestly can't wait.

The trailer is appropriately moody -- what do you expect for a series about a group of high school-aged private school students? It all comes drenched in a red light that at once evokes blood -- apt since this is in fact a bit of a murder mystery -- as well as the color most of us associate with love. Which is of course on par as well as the show features a tangled web of lust and relationships! We will never forget the doomed triad between our dearly beloved dom top Carla, her boyfriend Polo and the player of players, Christian. Sadly, though we get a lot of teasing in season one we never get the onscreen Polo on Christian hook up we've hoped for but we do get enough!

Plus there's the actual gay couple Omar and Ander. It is ... whew. They are undoubtedly one of television's favorite gay couples. Go watch the show and decide for yourself! In the new trailer, the two actually kiss which at least means they will be together for the first episode. How much longer after that 'Omander' sticks around is to be determined but we will certainly be watching. Who knows, maybe Polo has a thing for triads and might try to get in on the action here!

We would like to see it.
