'Will & Grace' Revival Will Return For a Second & Third Season

The TV reboot craze isn't slowing down any time soon.

The TV reboot and revival craze shows no signs of slowing down as the revival of Will & Grace, which is still in its first season, has been renewed for not one but two follow ups. A second outing of the second outing was greenlit in August, before the show had even returned to TV, and now a third season has been confirmed by Deadline.

The initial reboot had originally been planned as a 10-episode series, which was quickly expanded to 12 episodes, and then increased again to 16. The 13-episode second season has already been expanded to 18 episodes. Before we know it they'll be airing them once a week until Sean Hayes dies.

"As far as I'm concerned, we can't get enough of Will & Grace, and 23 more episodes is music to my ears," said NBC Entertainment chairman Robert Greenblatt. "We're eternally grateful that Debra, Eric, Sean and Megan feel the same way and wanted to keep this good thing going. I'm overwhelmed by the euphoric response the new show has received from the press and the audience, and my hat is off to the unrivaled writing team of Max Mutchnick and David Kohan, as well as the brilliant directing of Jimmy Burrows, for consistently delivering one of the best shows on television."

The revival has been mostly great with a few uneven episodes, with an impressive lineup of familiar guest stars from the original run including Jennifer Lopez, Molly Shannon and Minnie Driver. The season one finale will air April 5.
