Jane the Virgin star Gina Rodriguez will guest star on an upcoming episode of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, playing bisexual Detective Rosa Diaz's love interest. Rodriguez, who can currently be seen in Annihilation, tweeted about her desire to appear on the show as actress Stephanie Beatriz's (who is openly bisexual) girlfriend in January.

Beatriz's Brooklyn Nine-Nine co-star Terry Crews confirmed Rodriguez's role on Twitter.
