Here's what we know about the seventh installment of American Horror Story.

In a new interview on E! News, AHS creator Ryan Murphy shared some interesting tidbits about the next installment of his hit anthology series.

"Evan Peters and Sarah Paulson are the leads," he said. "But even they don't know who they're playing. We just started back with the writer's room of that."

Murphy continued, "It's a modern story, is all I'll say. It's very, very scary, and very fun, and very topical. Anyone who voted in the last election will very much enjoy what it's about."

AHS season 7 will air not long after next Labor Day. The show has already been renewed for seasons 8 and 9 as well, and Murphy previously teased to E! that one season could be a crossover between Coven and Murder House. To Entertainment Weekly, he said that season 8 was his "secret season" that only he and one other writer know about.
