Netflix's hit political drama House of Cards is returning for a final sixth season without lead actor Kevin Spacey, Deadlinereports.
The streaming service's Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos confirmed production on the last season of the show would begin next year, and would still star actress Robin Wright.
After allegations surfaced that the Oscar-winning Spacey had sexually assaulted a number of young men, including 14-year-old Anthony Rapp, Netflix indefinitely suspended any future production on House of Cards, which employs over 2,000 people in the Baltimore area.

Spacey has also been pulled from the Ridley Scott film All The Money In The World, scheduled for release this month, and been replaced by actor Christopher Plummer. He also was dropped as the recipient of a special 2017 International Emmy Founders Award.
No word yet on how exactly Spacey's character will be removed from the House of Cards narrative.
