This is his second consecutive year supporting the nonprofit organization.

Carl Nassib is once again bringing gay representation to the straight-dominated world of football.

For a second consecutive year, Nassib has chosen to support The Trevor Project for the "My Cause My Cleats" initiative from the National Football League. This is an annual initiative where the NFL asks players to show their love for causes and organizations that they're passionate about.

Nassib's cleats have been personalized with The Trevor Project's logo and aesthetic, and he will be wearing these personalized cleats on Monday Night Football next week. Currently, Nassib is playing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers alongside the likes of Tom Brady.

It comes as no surprise that Nassib has chosen to support The Trevor Project for this initiative. The NFL player has shown a lot of support for the organization over the years, and even matched $100,000 in donations in the past. As one of the leading LGBTQ+ nonprofit organizations in the world, The Trevor Project is an incredibly helpful and important institution for our community.

Coming out is one thing, but putting your money where your mouth is can be a very different story. Thankfully, Nassib has consistently shown support for LGBTQ+ causes and organizations ever since he came out as gay as an active NFL player in 2021.
