She may obscure her face with a mop of platinum fringe, and insist she doesn't "care about commercial success," but there's no ignoring this Australia native's considerable clout. Having written hits for today's leading pop divas -- Beyonce, Rihanna, Katy Perry, and more -- she was unstoppable as a solo artist in 2014: "Chandelier," her first single to appear on the Billboard Hot 100, was a certifiable phenom due to its video featuring a young girl as her stand-in. The bisexual singer-songwriter married filmmaker Erik Anders Lang last year, and despite managing to stay just outside the spotlight, she only seems to be getting started.
