This week, TV welcomed a classic character back. Murphy Brown returned for an 11th season, 20 years after it went off the air. And star Candice Bergen is back to play Brown in the era of #MeToo, fake news, and Trump.
But with all that work, she needed an assistant. And in the season premiere, she had a particularly overqualified candidate interview for the position.
Hillary Clinton appeared as a prospective employee, named Hilary Clendon. They both acknowledged her resemblance to a certain presidential candidate, but she clarified that her name was spelled with on L. She also noted that she has experience with emails.
