Dave Matthews organized the event in his hometown.
Dave Matthews Band has organized a benefit concert in response to the horrific Nazi and white supremacist rallies in Charllotesville, VA, the band's hometown. They've recruited A-list talent to join them, including Ariana Grande, Pharrell Williams, and Justin Timberlake, as well as Chris Stapleton, the Roots, Alabama Shakes' Brittany Howard, and Cage The Elephant.
The concert is completely free, and you can request tickets here. Charlottesville citizens and students at UVA are receiving first priority. The benefit is asking for donations to be made to the Concert For Charlottesville Fund, which will provide money toward terrorism victims and their families, first responders and social justice organizations.
