New Deuce Trailer Sees James Franco Playing Two Mob Twins

A new trailer for HBO's upcoming porn industry drama The Deuce is here, and at last, we finally get to see two James Francos occupying one screen. That's because Franco will play both lead roles on the show: Frankie and Vinny Martino, who rise to Times Square sex industry notoriety as they become fronts for mob ownership of porn and prostitution in the '80s.

As we've said before, it's quite disheartening to know that a show about AIDS-era New York City is centering on a straight, cis white man, but that being said, The Deuce looks like it's going to be one hell of a program. It's the latest project from David Simon, who previously created The Wire, and co-stars Maggie Gyllenhaal as a curly blonde prostitute-turned-porn-power-player named Candy.
