Watch: Lorde Debuts 'Perfect Places' On The Tonight Show

Lorde's epic diary confession of an album, Melodrama, was finally released on Friday and it's a nearly perfect summer album: sexy, sad and celebratory all at once.

One of the album's standout tracks, "Perfect Places," sees the 20-year-old searching for nirvana with the help of some party favors. It's an introspective look at a generation mindlessly seeking abandon at any cost, and Lorde ponders what exactly her generation is hoping to find. "All of the things we're taking / 'Cause we are young and we're ashamed / Send us to perfect places," she sings on the Jack Antonoff-produced track.

Lorde stopped by The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to debut the record's new single. Surrounded by a halo of baby's breath, the artist proved that she has one of the most dynamic voices in pop. Watch, below.
