The Chicago rapper's verse is so charming and affectionate, we nearly fainted.
A Chance the Rapper remix of Francis & the Lights' song, "May I Have This Dance" just dropped today, and it's legendary. The Chicago rapper's verse is so charming and affectionate, we nearly fainted:
"You've got your, your mother's eyes / You've got your, your grandmother's ring / You've got your daddy's discernment," he croons. "One, two, one, two, always on beat / You must have been born with two right feet / I know you've been looking for something concrete / You must have been born with two right feet. / I love you more than your mother / More than you love yourself."
The track's music video has also been released, and it's a call back to the iconic Kanye and Bon Iver-starring visual for Francis & the Lights' "Friends," where they dance in a large, empty room in one single shot.
