Bob the Drag Queen Leads Drag-Studded Cherry Pop Cast

Bob the Drag Queen is making the leap from America's drag superstar to America's drag movie star. He leads a drag-studded cast including Detox Icunt and Tempest Dujour in the upcoming film, Cherry Pop.

Set in a failing drag bar, the movie follows one night in the lives of its performers. When a new performer (Lars Berge) begins, he struggles to find his place. Antics ensue with backstage backstabbing, raucous regulars, and a legendary queen (Dujour) preparing for her final performance.

Wolfe Video has just announced that Cherry Pop will premiere June 19 at New York Pride as part of OutCinema presented by NewFest and NYC Pride at the SVA Theatre. It's followed by a July 11 screening in San Francisco and a Los Angeles premiere to be announced.
