In a new interview with Vogue, Mozart in the Jungle star Lola Kirke (sister of Jemima) called out Taylor Swift's lack of political activism during the 2016 election.
"For me, it's really important to elevate voices and causes that don't get as much attention with whatever attention I get," she said. When asked who, specifically, she felt wasn't properly using their voice, Kirke responded, "Taylor fucking Swift, who may as well have voted for Trump, as far as I'm concerned, by not doing anything."
Kirke can most recently been seen in the film Gemini, which just premiered during Austin's SXSW Festival. The movie follows an assistant-turned-private-eye after the discovery of a dead body.
